Feels – Feels (2016)

rsz_feels If you’ve seen Feels at a show recently, you’d have heard some of these new tracks in their setlist. “Close My Eyes” and “Tell Me” is on their self-titled album, which was produced by none other than Ty Segall.
In the last two years, Feels have played an outrageous number of shows with only a handful of tracks to listen to online, or tapes to snag, but this really hasn’t stopped them from building a local following. This is a rare band; one that has mastered complex composition that is somehow both grounded and intangible, both off the charts upbeat and slowly whirring. Right when you’ve become comfortable with a beautifully eerie harmony, they knock you over with wailing reverb and thrashing drums at breakneck speed.
